Chrissy & Chris’ Beauty of a Wedding

This beauty of a wedding started at Chris’ place, with the family cooking up a storm over the BBQ. It was all a buzz with mum in the makeup chair, dad turning over the meat and the boys chilling out at the backyard bar. You could see the pride in dad’s eyes as the traditional shaving of the groom was underway. The boys suited up, and here’s something you don’t see every wedding; one of Chris’ mates needed an extra notch on their belt, and men being men they whipped out a power drill and made that extra notch happen. By then, the cars arrived. And boy, did they arrive! The Ford GTs looked amazing, and the boys knew exactly what to do with it.

Over at Chrissy’s, the house was packed with family and close friends. The girls were getting their sparkles on, and Chrissy looked nothing less that a princess in her amazing dress. Dad had the doves ready to go, as they nestled up in their lovely cage. Traditions of the red scarf and the censer, and a breaking of the plate kicked off the start of the proceedings, and then it was on to the ceremony we went :)

The ceremony was beautiful, held in St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church. The doves were let go, symbolizing the love and peace to come. After a quick photo shoot, it was time to kick the heels off for the reception at Merrimu. Congratulations guys! Catch up with you soon!
